What kind of style I can wear for the summer. without heat or chemicals to alter my african american hair?

hair style that allows me to have waves curls and lots of body. What kind of style I can wear for the summer. without heat or chemicals to alter my african american hair?
If you don't mind having rollers in your hair for a few hours, you could try wet setting your hair. It'll make your hair super curly at first, so clip it up in a cute ponytail or bun until it falls. Once it falls you'll have sexy summertime waves and curls that'll stay nice in the heat (and won't fall as easy if you sweat!)

Or, you could do some cute cornrows or french braids. Here's a cute style from Seventeen magazine:

shave it dude.
Curl ur hair with pins! Do the ponytail with side bangs!
Rollersets and braid outs are hairstyles that can help you achieve curls and waves that do not require heat that will damage your hair.
My granddaughter is mix, and she has very african hair. I think it would look really cute during the summer months to have it corn row. You could add really neat looking beads to add high lights to hair and clothes you are wearing. You can get a hair serm that help relax your hair somek, however it will wash out. Why not try puttling hair back into a pony tail and then twisting it into a neat bun. Add few beads, feathers,or even a touch of glitter. good luck

African American Beauty,

You might want to try braiding your hair while wet and letting it out...loads of body there.

Not sure of the length...but you can twist the hair is sectionned rolls...once you let it out...you'll have a waivy/funky afro.

If you do opt on going natural, you'll need to make sure you have loads of moisture in the hair so it does not dry out...try weekly treatments and conditionning after each shampoo!

Your best bet is a straw set...it is a style that actuall y has your hair set on straws...the outcome is beautiful and the curls last a long time..if u want body, curls and waves this is definitely the style for you!!! And the older the curls get the prettier...
